My Education, My  Future!

1. What resonated with you from President Obama's speech? What lines or phrases do you remember?

The thing that most resonated with me was when he said, "Not everyone is born being good  at everything, you have to preactice to be good".

The line that I remember the most is when he said, "Never give up on yourself, because when you give up on yourself you're givin up on your country".
 2. What were the three most important words in Obama's speech? What do they mean?

Responsability, Education, and Effort.

3. Is Obama inspiring you to do anything? Is he challenging you to do something? What is it?

Obama is actually inspiring me to do something in life, life work hard to get to were I want to get, and to be who I want to be. He is also challenging me to do good in school to be able to succeed.

4. Obama said, "no one has written your destiny for you, you make your own destiny." What does this quote mean to you and your life?

What this quote means to me and my life is that, nobody else can decide what i want to do with future but me.

5. Obama stressed the importance of working hard in school and contributing to your country. He also asked, "What's your contribution going to be? What problems are you going to solve?" How would you answer this question if you were conversing with Mr. Obama?

My answer would be:

Sir I understand were you're comming from, and I can say that my contribution will be to do the best I can, confronting all obstacles that get in my way, and work as hard as I can to be succesful in life, and just like you did, I'm going to follow my dreams. And the problems that I'm going to try and solve will be those to help young people like me who are in grouphomes, living a tough life away from their parents and people who love them, I will try to help them understand that everything they're going trough will not last forever to hang in htere and follow their dreams.

~*~ I am poem ~*~

I am creative and strong

I wonder if true love really exists

I hear the sound of love in my baby’s heartbeat

I see reality everywhere in the streets

I want to be famous and successful

I am creative and strong

I pretend to be happy when I’m not

I feel motivated when I feel my baby kick

I touch the stars when I dream

I worry that nothing is going to be the same anymore

I cry when it’s time to say goodbye

I am creative and strong

I understand that nothing is handed on a silver plate

I say someday things are going to get better

I dream to have a happy family

I try to be a better person everyday

I hope someday my life gets better

I am creative and I’m strong
